WHO?
We are an organization of people who collaborate with humanitarian initiatives in extremely poor countries through volunteer work and medical professional action.
WHERE?
The cooperation work focuses on those countries with a highest poverty rate – Sub-Saharan Africa and, more specifically, Burkina Faso. We believe in the direct care and use of resources and we consider fundamental to co work with local volunteers and professionals – they are the ones who will guarantee the continuity and self-sustainability of the projects.
MOTIVATION
Our motivation to act is closely associated to the Christian values we advocate for and which inspired the origin and foundation of this organization. Therefore, we act to show the love and solidarity that Jesus conveyed in the words and deeds described in the Gospels. Imitating the life of Jesus requires tearing down religious, cultural and ethnic barriers. For this reason, emsimisionwelcomes people from all backgrounds among its volunteers and among the groups of people who receive help – no matter their race, belief, gender or age.
